Bethel University is seeking applications for a permanent full-time faculty member to fulfill the duties of an Instructor/Assistant Professor of Economics in the College of Arts and Sciences, beginning August 1, 2019. Qualifications and Teaching Load: A Master's Degree in Economics is required, and a PhD is preferred. Eighteen graduate hours in Accounting is a plus.  The teaching loads are 12 hours for each of the fall and spring semesters of macro and microeconomics and occasional upper-level ECON courses as needed. 
Other responsibilities: These include but are not limited to advising students, mentoring students and participating in department, division, and/or college-level committee work at the university.
Other qualifications: Successful teaching experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to higher education.
